Biography
Cassie Pedersen is a Lecturer in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Federation University Australia, based on Wurundjeri land in Narrm (Melbourne). Her work interrogates the interplay between the ordinary and the extraordinary, revealing how extraordinary harms are embedded in ordinary, everyday practices. Her interests include vegan ecofeminism, care ethics, trans-species trauma, and critical animal studies.
